��� � <br />� <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />Date: 06/08/2015 <br />Item No.: 8.c <br />Department Approval City Manager Approval <br />�' �: � <br />Item Description: Approval of 20 ] 5 Business and Other License Renewals <br />BACKGROUND <br />Chapter 301 of the City Code requires all applications for business and other license renewals to be submitted <br />to the City Council for approvaL The City has received the following renewal applications for the 2015-16 <br />license year: <br />❖ 6 Amusement Device Licenses <br />❖ 20 Cigarette/Tobacco Products Licenses <br />•'• 1 Game Room License <br />: 1 Gas Pump — Private License <br />❖ 12 Gas Station Licenses <br />❖ 26 Massage Therapist Licenses <br />❖ 15 Massage Therapy Establishment Licenses <br />❖ 2 Pool/Billiards Licenses <br />❖ 1 Theater License <br />❖ 3 Veterinary Examination Licenses <br />POLICY OBJECTIVE <br />Required by City Code <br />FINANCIAL IMPACTS <br />The correct fees were paid to the City at the time the applications were made. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />.. Staff has reviewed the applications and has determined that the applicants meet all City requirements.
