EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> * * * * * * * <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on 8th day of June, 2015, at 6:00 p.m. <br /> The following members were present: Laliberte, McGehee, Willmus, Etten, Roe; and the <br /> following members were absent: None. <br /> Member Etten introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 11225 <br /> RESOLUTION PROHIBITING PARKING ON THE BOTH SIDES OF <br /> CLEVELAND AVENUE FROM COUNTY ROAD C NORTH TO COUNTY ROAD D <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: <br /> WHEREAS, Cleveland Ave between County Road C and County Road D is a County State Aid <br /> Highway; <br /> AND WHEREAS, portions of such roadway is proposed to be reconstructed using Federal <br /> Surface Transportation funds and the repaving of such roadways must conform to established <br /> County State Aid Highway standards; <br /> AND WHEREAS, the current width and striped use of Cleveland Ave is not sufficient for on <br /> street parking on both sides according to State Aid standards; <br /> AND WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation requires a resolution from the <br /> governing body designating a parking restriction in the event the roadway does not meet <br /> standards for on street parking; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Roseville, that <br /> parking is hereby prohibited along both sides of Cleveland Avenue from County Road C to <br /> County Road D; <br /> The motion was duly seconded by Member McGehee and upon vote being taken thereon, the <br /> following voted in favor thereof: Laliberte, McGehee, Willmus, Etten, Roe; and the following <br /> voted against: None. <br /> WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
