EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 16th day of June, 2003, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: Klausing, Maschka, Schroeder, Kough and Kysylyczyn and the following were absent: None Council Member Kysylyczyn introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 10106 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF HOUSING FUNDS 574 AND 271 TO THE HOUSING & REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY IN AND FOR THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE WHEREAS, the City of Roseville established a Housing & Redevelopment Authority in a and for the City of Roseville (hereby referred to as the "HRA") on June 17,2002 as a separate entity with legal authority established under MN Statutes 469.001 to 469.047; and WHEREAS, one ofthe key objectives of the HRA is to provide housing programs and promote safe, decent and affordable housing options for the City; and WHEREAS, the City currently contributes to and administers several housing programs including the following: HousingResource Center Services Owner Occupied Revolving Loan Program Rambler Redesign Program Home & Garden Fair Housing Replacement Program Single Family Rehabilitation Program Senior Housing Program Rental Rehabilitation Program Planbook Program Borders & Buffer Program Community Development Block Grant Program WHEREAS, the City Council believes that it is in the best interest of the City to transfer the operations and maintenance ofthe housing programs to the HRA to implement the City housing goals and objectives.
