Roseville Public Works, Environment and <br />Transportation Commission <br />Agenda Item <br />Date: June 23, 2015 <br />Item Description: Community Solar Update and Discussion <br />Item No: 5 <br />Background: <br />The demand for Community Solar Gardens in increasing and more and more large scale gardens <br />are being proposed and planned. The City has had discussions in the past about the possibility of <br />hosting a Community Solar installation, but it seems more likely that in the very near future the <br />City will have an opportunity to buy shares of a large scale Community Solar Garden in order to <br />offset energy usage on campus. <br />This evening, the Commission will receive a presentation from a representative from the Clean <br />Energy Resource Teams (CERTs) or from the Great Plains Institute to provide an update on the <br />options for Community Solar Garden participation. <br />Recommended Action: <br />Receive presentation on Community Solar Gardens. <br />Attachments: <br />A.
