Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday,June 15, 2015 <br /> Page 32 <br /> While the Department Heads consider that, Mayor Roe suggested they provide <br /> feedback to the City Council on plusses and minuses that created for their specific <br /> areas of operation as they had documented last year. <br /> Councilmember Etten concurred that was a fair request. <br /> Councilmember McGehee suggested another consideration be the elimination of <br /> the local SWAT Team,with those monies available to use elsewhere, and services <br /> available from Ramsey County. Councilmember McGehee suggested Department <br /> Heads bring their ideas forward to provide evidence of their review of services <br /> and their conclusions based on their viewpoint. <br /> As touched on by Mayor Roe earlier tonight, Councilmember Willmus requested <br /> a periodic review of JPA rates for IT and other services; and a review of whether <br /> dollars allocated are being formulated accurately and in the manner understood by <br /> the City Council during their budget process. <br /> 14. Councilmember-Initiated Items for Future Meetings <br /> Councilmember Willmus noted his e-mail provided to Councilmembers last week re- <br /> questing consideration for reviewing current high density residential-zoned (HDR) prop- <br /> erties along Old Highway 8 and potential changes to Zoning Code and/or amendment to <br /> the Comprehensive Plan moving toward medium density residential (MDR). <br />
