MOU necessary for ground cover issues. <br />Perennial Management has done a good job of upgrading and making improvements to the buildings which are now 75% <br />occupied. Also, Police has noted there have been no police calls at these buildings. <br />Maintenance personnel are now more aware of what is considered a violation. <br />After renewal inspections, a number of buildings have gone from a "D" to "A" rating. <br />Ramsey County Health Department noted their appreciation of the program. <br />Since the beginning of the program, staff estimates an additional 2,465 smoke detectors have been installed predominately in <br />bedrooms throughout the apartment buildings in the city. <br />Anticipated one building to have not made corrections and possibly license revocation. However, a few days before the <br />inspection, the apartment owner corrected and completed 90% of the violations which resulted in an unexpected, and very <br />favorable outcome. <br /> <br />
