<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 18th day of August, 2003, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Klausing, Schroeder, Kough, Maschka, and <br />Kysylyczyn; <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Kough introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10131 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 6 INCH VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.02D5 OF <br />THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />1413 MILLWOOD AVENUE (PF3503). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, James Paal has requested a 6 inch variance to Section l004.02D5 (Dwelling <br />Dimensions - Side Yard Setback) of the Roseville City Code to allow the construction of an <br />attached garage on to the side of the home; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Paal residence is located at 1413 Millwood Avenue and legally <br />described as: <br /> <br />Lot 8, Block 9, Roseville Terrace Plat 4 <br />PIN: 03-29-23-24-0015 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section l004.02D5 of the Roseville City Code requires all principal <br />structures to be set back a minimum of 5 feet from a side property line in this section of <br />Roseville; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the existing Paal principal structure lies 7 feet 6 inches from the side yard <br />property line; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Paal desires to construct a3 foot attached garage addition that would <br />encroach 6 inched into the required 5 foot side yard setback; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />Paal variance request (Section l004.02D5) on August 6,2003, and recommended (5-0) approval <br />of the request based on findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project <br />report dated August 6,2003. <br /> <br />1 <br />
