<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 18th day of August, 2003, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Klausing, Schroeder, Kough, Maschka, and <br />Kysylyczyn; <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Kough introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10132 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 14 VARIANCE TO SECTION 1009.03M OF THE <br />ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />2555 SNELLING AVENUE (PF3502). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Dan Stock (Press Gym) and Sunrise Assisted Living have requested a <br />variance to Section l009.03M (Ground Sign) of the Roseville City Code to allow the installation <br />of a sign advertising the Press Gym on the Sunrise parcel; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Sunrise Assisted Living is located at 2555 Snelling Avenue and legally <br />described as: <br /> <br />The East 395 feet of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 9, <br />Township 29, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota, except the North 767 feet thereof, except <br />the South 335 feet thereof, and except the East 100 feet thereof for Snelling A venue. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section loo9.03M of the Roseville City Code requires all ground signs to be <br />setback a minimum of 15 feet from a property line; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Dan Stock desires to erect a ground sign 1 foot from the east property <br />line adjacent to the frontage road adjacent to Snelling A venue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />Stock variance request (Section loo9.03M) on August 6,2003, and recommended (4-1) approval <br />of the request based on findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project <br />report dated August 6,2003. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant Sunrise <br />Assisted Living and Dan Stock a VARIANCE to Section l009.03M (Ground Sign) of the <br />Roseville City Code allowing the installation of a ground sign 1 foot from the east property line <br />at 2555 Snelling Avenue, subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1 <br />
