<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 18th day of August, 2003, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Klausing, Schroeder, Kough, Maschka, and <br />Kysylyczyn; <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Kough introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10134 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 758 SQ. FT. VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.01A6 OF <br />THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />466 IDLLTOP AVENUE (PF3501). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mark Koenig has requested a variance to Section l004.01A6 (Maximum <br />Total Surface Area) of the Roseville City Code to allow the construction of a detached accessory <br />building (replacement garage) and additional paved driveway; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Koenig parcel is located at 466 Hilltop Avenue and legally described as: <br /> <br />Lot 28, Block 5, Rolling Green <br /> <br />PIN: 13-29-23-31-0097 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section l004.01A6 of the Roseville City Code limits a single family <br />residential parcel to maximum total surface area coverage (lot coverage) of 30% or in the case of <br />the Koenig parcel an allowance of 2,025 square feet; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Koenig parcel has an existing impervious coverage of 2,036 square feet <br />or 30%, which total dose not afford any additional impervious coverage without a reduction in <br />the existing amount or an approved variance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Koenig has worked with the City Staff to modify his proposal to include <br />a reduced impervious coverage not to exceed 2,783 square feet or 41.2%. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />Koenig variance request (Section l004.01A6) on August 6, 2003, and recommended (5-0) <br />approval of the request based on findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the <br />project report dated August 6, 2003. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant Mark <br />Koenig a 758 square foot VARIANCE to Section l004.01A6 (Maximum Total Surface Area) of <br />the Roseville City Code allowing the construction of a replacement garage and additional paved <br />driveway at 466 Hilltop Avenue, subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1 <br />
