<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 18th day of August, 2003, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Klausing, Schroeder, Kough, Maschka, and <br />Kysylyczyn; <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Kough introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10136 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 3 FOOT VARIANCE TO SECTION 703.04B9 OF <br />THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />466 HILLTOP AVENUE (PF3501). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mark Koenig has requested a variance to Section 703.04B9 (Driveways on <br />Private Property) of the Roseville City Code to allow the construction of a driveway <br />(replacement of existing driveway) 2 feet from his side yard property line; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Koenig parcel is located at 466 Hilltop Avenue and legally described as: <br /> <br />Lot 28, Block 5, Rolling Green <br />PIN: 13-29-23-31-0097 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 703.04B9 of the Roseville City Code requires all paved driveways <br />to be located a minimum of 5 feet from a side yard property line; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Koenig desires to replace a section of existing driveway that currently <br />lies within the required 5 foot setback (at a varying distance) to a point 2 feet from the property <br />line to be in keeping with his proposed detached accessory building; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />Koenig variance request (Section 703.03B9) on August 6, 2003, and recommended (5-0) <br />approval of the request based on findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the <br />project report dated August 6, 2003. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant Mark <br />Koenig a 3 foot V ARIANCE to Section 703.04B9 (Driveways on Private Property) of the <br />Roseville City Code allowing the construction of a replacement garage and additional paved <br />driveway at 466 Hilltop Avenue, subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1 <br />
