EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the 18th day of August, 2003, at 7:00 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Klausing, Schroeder, Kough, Maschka and Kysylyczyn and the following members were absent: none. Councilmember Kough introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 10137 RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS FOR SW-02-13 Larpenteur Avenue Streetscape Improvements (S.P. No. 160-020-14/ TEAX 6201 [110]) WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were received on Tuesday, August 14,2003, at 9:00 a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: BIDDER AMOUNT 0' Malley Construction $221,208.47 Thomas and Sons Construction $280,342.90 Jay Brothers $298,834.36 L. S. Black $318,334.65 Landmark Concrete $337,503.16 WHEREAS, it appears that 0' Malley Construction ofLe Center, Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of $221 ,208.4 7 and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: 1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with 0' Malley Construction for $221,208.47 in the name of the City of Roseville for the above improvements according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Manager. 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: The motion was seconded by Councilmember Maschka and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Klausing, Schroeder, Kough, Maschka and Kysylyczyn and the following voted against: none. Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
