Department Approval <br />Item Description: <br />�:i � <br />� <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />Date: 7/20/2015 <br />Item No.: 8.i <br />City Manager Approval <br />Receive Donation of Tourniquets and Rapid Deployment Packs From the <br />Roseville Police Foundation <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Police Department's Citizens Park Patrol utilizes rapid deployment bags in its marked units to hold <br />supplies during an emergency. <br />The Roseville Police Foundation has agreed to purchase twenty additional tourniquets and five <br />additional rapid deployment bags to supplement the current supply at a value of $834. <br />POLICY OBJECTIVE <br />Allow the police department to accept the donation of the tourniquets and rapid deployment bags. <br />FINANCTAL IMPACTS <br />No additional costs to the City. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />Allow the police department to accept the donation from the Roseville Police Foundation. <br />REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION <br />Request Council approval to accept the donation from the Roseville Police Foundation. <br />Prepared by: Rick Mathwig <br />�� <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />
