� • Manson Street at Stanbridge Street <br />.. POLICY OBJECTIVE <br />_- City policy requires that the following items be completed to finalize a construction contract: <br />. • Certification from the City Engineer verifying that all of the work has been completed in <br />���� accordance with plans and specifications. <br />• A resolution by the City Council accepting the contract and beginning the one-year <br />� warranty. <br />�� FINANCIAL IMPACTS <br />- The final contract amount, $1,928,256.96, is $437,131.24 less than the awarded amount of <br />$2,365,388.20. The cost decrease is the result of actual contract quantities being less than <br />�- estimated, lower cost stormwater underground systems, and the removal of a stormwater repair <br />at Dale Street and County Road B which will be moved to a future project. <br />This project was iinanced using Municipal State Aid funds, utility funds, and street infrastructure <br />�. funds. <br />. STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />f; The work that was completed was in accordance with project plans and specifications.
