<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held at the City Hall on Monday, the 13th day of <br />October 2003, at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Klausing, Kough, Schroeder, Kysylyczyn <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10156 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE 60-DAY REVIEW PERIOD <br />FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT REQUEST OF SPEEDWAY SUPERAMERICA, <br />2172 LEXINGTON AVENUE (PF3524) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an application was submitted by Speedway SuperAmerica for a Conditional Use <br />Permit for consideration and action by the Planning Commission and City Council; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the application on October 1, 2003. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Planning Commission and Community Development <br />staff on behalf of applicant, that it would be appropriate and expedient to request that the City Council <br />approve a 60-day deadline extension, from November 2,2003 to December 31, 2003, to allow time for <br />further count of customers, traffic, parking and valuation study. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") of the City of <br />Roseville, (the "City"), Ramsey County, Minnesota, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 15.99, the time line <br />for agency review of the application of Speedway SuperAmerica for a Conditional Use Permit to allow <br />off-sale liquor sales in a 1,600 square foot portion of the convenience store with separate entry at 2172 <br />Lexington Avenue. It is understood fmal City Council action on these issues may be taken at any time <br />prior to the end of the extension date. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member <br />Klausing and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Maschka, Klausing, Kough, <br />Schroeder, Kysylyczyn <br />and the following voted against: None <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />1 <br />
