EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 20th day of July, 2015, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, McGehee, Roe; and the following were absent: None. Member McGehee introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION No. 11235 RESOLUTION AWARDING BEST VALUE PROPOSAL FOR PROJECT ST-15-13 ST. CROIX STORM SEWER LIFT STATION PROJECT WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for proposals for the improvement, according to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said proposals were received on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., opened and evaluated for best value according to law and the following proposals were received complying with the advertisement: Proposed Contract Total with Contractor Amount Alternate 1 Alternate 2 Alternates Magney Construction, $770,875 $25,000 $32,000 $827,875 Inc. WHEREAS, it appears that Magney Construction, Inc., of Chanhassen, Minnesota, is the best valued proposer at the proposed total contract amount of$827,875. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: 1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Magney Construction, Inc. for $827,875, in the name of the City of Roseville for the above improvements according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Manager. 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all proposers the deposits made with their proposals except the deposits of the successful proposer and the next best valued proposer shall be retained until contracts have been signed.
