<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 20th day of October, 2003, at 6:30 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Klausing, Kough, Schroeder and <br />Kysylyczyn and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Kysylyczyn introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10161 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDED CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT IN <br />ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 1004.01A4 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR <br />WALLY MCCARTHY AUTO GROUP, 2325 PRIOR AVENUE (PF3523). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Wally McCarthy Auto Group has requested an amendment to a previously <br />approved Special Use Permit (now referred to as a Conditional Use Permit) in accordance with <br />Section 1013.01 of the Roseville City Code to allow the replacement of the roofed, open air <br />vehicle sales area with a Hummer dealership building; approval of a service department addition; <br />and approval of a Hummer test track; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property in question is the Wally McCarthy Cadillac/Hummer site at <br />2325 Prior Avenue, legally described as: <br /> <br />Lots 3, Block 1, Rosedale Center Second Addition <br />PIN: 09-29-23-32-0008 <br /> <br />WHEREAS; the proposal by Wally McCarthy Cadillac/Hummer seeks to construct a <br />10,043 sq. ft. Hummer dealership where the existing roof, open are sales area lies; construct a <br />4,800 sq. ft. service department addition to the rear of the structure; and install a short test track <br />along the north property line; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property has received the following approvals by the City ofRoseville: <br /> <br />· <br /> <br />October 2, 1972, Long Cadillac received approval for rezoning from BIB to B3; a <br />Special Use Permit; and a parking variance for a new car and used car dealership <br />at 2325 Prior Avenue. <br /> <br />· <br /> <br />June 10, 1974, received approval for a variance pertaining to the number of pylon <br />signs (from one to two) on the premises. <br /> <br />· <br /> <br />December 13, 1976, received approval to subdivide certain property contiguous to <br />2325 Prior Avenue. <br /> <br />1 <br />
