EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the 26th day of January, 2004, at 7:00 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Schroeder, Maschka, Kough and Mayor Klausing, and the following were absent: none. Council Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION No. 10189 RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS FOR Arona Pond Improvement Project; Phase II WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were received on Friday, January 16,2004, at 2:00 p.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: BIDDER AMOUNT General Repair $43,963.00 I Electric Pump $48,880.00 Braun Pump and Controls $51,892.52 WW Goetsch Associates $818,641.00 BIDDER AMOUNT WHEREAS, it appears that General Repair Service of V adnais Heights, Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of$43,963.10 and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: 1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with General Repair Service for $43,963.10 in the name of the City of Roseville for the above improvements according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Manager. 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except the deposits ofthe successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof and the following voted against the same: none. Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
