HRA Meeting <br />Minutes – Tuesday, June 16, 2015 <br />Page 7 <br />1 <br />term issues; with staff spreading the word about money available from the HRA to fix some of <br />2 <br />those issues sooner rather than later. <br />3 <br />4 <br />d.Sidewalk on Larpenteur <br />5 <br />Mr. Bilotta reported that, as part of staff’s review of potential sites for community gardens, <br />6 <br />connection of the pathway along Larpenteur Avenue had come up. As a result of those efforts, <br />7 <br />Mr. Bilotta advised that Ramsey County had provided $150,000 toward that project from <br />8 <br />Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) grant monies; with Ramsey County’s Public <br />9 <br />Works Department providing some dollars as well, resulting in the ability to connect that <br />10 <br />pathway anticipated as a 2016 project. <br />11 <br />12 <br />e.ECHO Project Update <br />13 <br />Mr. Bilotta provided an update on the ECHO Project, with monies provided from the Family <br />14 <br />Housing Fund, the Roseville HRA, and the Metropolitan Council, allowing a bigger endeavor <br />15 <br />and encouraging additional parties to participate. Mr. Bilotta noted this all resulted in the <br />16 <br />initial $10,000 invested by the HRA. <br />17 <br />18 <br />Announcements <br />19 <br />At the request of Chair Maschka, Member Wall reported on the upcoming Rotary Club’s Taste <br />20 <br />of Roseville event with over seventy vendors scheduled to participate; and use of this year’s <br />21 <br />proceeds for a start-up technology program for Roseville elementary schools. With the <br />22 <br />Roseville Library, Central Park rain garden as examples, Member Wall noted that all of the <br />23 <br />proceeds remained in the community. <br />24 <br />25 <br />Mr. Bilotta reminded members of the special meeting scheduled for June 30, 2015 to initiate <br />26 <br />strategic planning discussions; and asked that members get their feedback to HRA Executive <br />27 <br />Director Jeanne Kelsey for forwarding them to facilitator Barbara Raye before the meeting. <br />28 <br />29 <br />At the request of Member Majerus, Mr. Bilotta confirmed that staff would mail individual <br />30 <br />feedback to the body prior to the meeting. <br />31 <br />32 <br />11.
