<br />WHEREAS, The City of Roseville, in conjunction with the City of Fa1con Heights, desires to <br />reconstruct Roselawn Avenue (County Road 114) from Snelling Avenue to Hamline Avenue for <br />an estimated cost of$I,OOO,OOO and fund the project with Municipal State Aid Street sources and <br />an estimated $175,000 from Capital Improvement Funds for Ramsey County Roadway <br />Consolidation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City of Roseville desires Ramsey County to repair all deteriorated structures on <br />Roselawn Avenue (County Road 114) from Cleveland Avenue to Snelling Avenue at an <br />estimated cost of $6,500; and mill and overlay Roselawn Avenue from Cleveland Avenue to <br />Fairview Avenue for an estimated cost of$110,000; and crack seal Roselawn Avenue from <br />Fairview Avenue to Snelling Avenue for an estimated cost of $1,100 and fund the structure <br />repairs, mill and overlay and crack seal projects with an estimated $117,600 from Capital <br />Improvement Funds for Ramsey County Roadway Consolidation; Now, Therefore, Be It <br /> <br />RESOLVED, The City of Roseville does hereby concur with the Ramsey County Board of <br />Commissioners revoking the "County Road" status of Roselawn Avenue (County Road 114) <br />from Cleveland Avenue to Hamline Avenue in the City of Roseville and transfers jurisdiction <br />over the roadway to the City ofRoseville, effective after the County is in receipt of an adopted <br />resolution from the City of Roseville concurring with the County revoking the "County Road" <br />status of Roselawn Avenue (County Road 114) from Cleveland Avenue to Hamline Avenue, and <br />after the Ramsey County Office of Budgeting and Accounting has encumbered the funds <br />necessary to fund the reconstruction, structure repairs, mill and overlay and crack seal project; <br />and Be It Further <br /> <br />RESOLVED, That as just compensation for these jurisdiction transfers the County shall pay an <br />estimated $175,000 upon presentation of billings from the construction contractor for the <br />reconstruction of Roselawn Avenue; and shall repair deteriorated structures, mill and overlay and <br />crack seal Roselawn Avenue at an estimated cost of$117,600; and Be It Further <br /> <br />RESOLVED, That upon turnback to the City of Roseville from Ramsey County the segment of <br />Roselawn Avenue (County Road 114) from Cleveland Avenue to Hamline Avenue be and is <br />hereby established, located and designated as a Municipal State Aid Street of said City, subject <br />to the approval of the Commissioner of Transportation of the State of Minnesota; and Be It <br />Further <br /> <br />RESOLVED, The Roseville Engineer is authorized within the limits ofthis resolution to take <br />actions necessary to have the identified jurisdiction changes executed. <br /> <br />The motion was duly seconded by Schroeder and upon vote being taken theron, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: Ihlan, Kough, Schroeder and Klausing and the following voted against: <br />none. <br />
