<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 26th day of July 2004, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Thlan, Kough, Maschka, Schroeder and Klausing <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10229 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN INTERIM USE PERMIT FOR RICHARD SIMPSON, <br />2660 CLEVELAND A VENUS (PF3580). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Richard Simpson (dba Simpson Auto Sales) has requested an interim use permit <br />to allow the temporary sale and display of motor vehicles on a portion of 2660 Cleveland Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, 2660 Cleveland Avenue is generally described at as: <br /> <br />West 125 feet of Lots 9 and 10 and the South ~ of Lot 8, Twin View. Excluding the West 185 feet of <br />Lot 11; the West 185 feet of the South 89.69 feet of Lot 12; and the South ~ of Lot 13, Twin View (PIN <br />04-29-23-33-0005). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1012.09A and B stipulated the requirements necessary to obtain an <br />interim use permit; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Richard Simpson proposes to utilize a 3,000 sq. ft. space within the Roseville <br />Properties multi-tenant building at 2660 Cleveland Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding the interim <br />use permit request of Richard Simpson and recommended (6-0) to approve the request, based on the <br />comments outlined in Section 5 and the conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated 07/07/04. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant Family <br />Academy and interim use permit consistent with Section 1012.09 A and B ofthe Roseville City Code <br />based on the comments and findings in Section 5 of the project report dated June 17, 2002, and the <br />following conditions: <br /> <br />1. The use of the premises, 2660 Cleveland Avenue, is for a vehicle rental, leasing, and <br />resale business consistent with Section loo7.03C of the Roseville City Code, with daily <br />operations including, title work, display, leasing, and sales, and rental, accounting, <br />financing, and other business related activities. (Vehicle repair, painting, and/or <br />degreasing shall be prohibited in the building and on the parking lot.) <br /> <br />1 <br />
