<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting ofthe City Council ofthe City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, July 26, 2004, at 6:00 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Ihlan, Kough, Maschka, Schroeder and Klausing and the <br />following were absent: none. <br /> <br />Council member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 10231 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RELATING TO IMPROVEMENTS <br />P-ST -03-02-61 AND P-ST -03-02-68 <br />DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING <br />PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, contracts have been let and costs have been determined for Improvement P-ST -03-02-61 of <br />the City of Roseville on all that property abutting West Victoria Frontage Road, from Sandhurst Avenue <br />to dead end for the reconstruction of the street by the installation of bituminous paving, concrete curb <br />and gutter, storm sewer, landscaping, utility repair, and necessary appurtenances; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the forgoing is in the area described in the legal notice relating to the original hearing on <br />the improvements and the resolutions relating thereto, and the contract price for such improvements is <br />$88,396.85, the other expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvements amounts <br />to $26,371.21 so that the total cost of the improvements will be $114,768.06 and of this cost the City <br />will pay $98,633.53 as its share of the cost. The cost to be specifically assessed is hereby declared to be <br />$16,134.64; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, contracts have been let and costs have been determined for Improvement P-ST -03-02-68 of <br />the City of Roseville on all that property abutting Pineview Court, from Dale Court to cul-de-sac for the <br />reconstruction of the street by the installation of bituminous paving, concrete curb and gutter, storm <br />sewer, landscaping, utility repair, and necessary appurtenances; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the forgoing is in the area described in the legal notice relating to the original hearing on <br />the improvements and the resolutions relating thereto, and the contract price for such improvements is <br />$44,182.97, the other expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvements amounts <br />to $12,054.01 so that the total cost of the improvements will be $56,236.98 and ofthis cost the City will <br />pay $42,177.73 as its share of the cost. The cost to be specifically assessed is hereby declared to be <br />$14,059.24; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. The City Manager, together with the assistance of the City Public Works Director, shall <br />forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such work against every <br />
