<br />RESOLUTION <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />*********************** <br /> <br />Pursuant of due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 26th day of July, 2004, at 6:00 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Ihlan, Kough, Maschka, Schroeder, Klausing <br /> <br />And, the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10235 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THAT A CERTAIN PARCEL IS <br />OCCUPIED BY A STRUCTURALLY SUBSTANDARD BUILDING AND <br />IS TO BE INCLUDED IN A TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota (the "City") as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Recitals. <br /> <br />1.01 The Housing and Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of Roseville (the <br />"Authority") has begun proceedings to acquire the following property (the "Parcel") through the <br />exercise of the Authority's power of eminent domain pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section <br />469.012: <br /> <br />2012 Eldridge Street, PIN 16-29-23-22-0049 <br /> <br />1.02 The Authority has proposed to redevelop the Parcel. <br /> <br />1.03 Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.174 et seq., as amended and supplemented from <br />time to time (the "Tax Increment Act") provides for the establishment of a tax <br />increment financing district as a redevelopment district. The Tax Increment Act <br />also allows for the inclusion of a parcel within a redevelopment tax increment <br />financing district (the "District") after a substandard building has been removed <br />by complying with Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.174, Subd. lO(d). <br />
