Please state your reasons for wanting to serve on the Commission/Board:: I'm continually looking for ways to engage and serve my community — both in a global sense (i.e. humanity) and at the local level (i.e. Roseville and my immediate neighborhood). I've also had a life-long interest in politics, especially as it relates to the state and local level. Government often has the most impact on an individual's life at the local level, and as such I feel in serving on this commission I can directly help people, which is my ultimate goal for all volunteer activities. What is your view of the role of this Commission/ Board?: Serve in an advisory capacity to the city council on community engagement issues, act as a general community liaison, provide an additional means for public interface with the city of Roseville, provide leadership on community engagement issues, and, of course, drive community engagement with the city across its entire population. Any further information you would like the City Council to consider or that you feel is relevant to the appointment or reappointment you are seeking.: I've been a Roseville resident since April of 2003 and, having recently purchased a subsequent home in Roseville, I plan to continue raise my family in the city for many years to come. I've come to appreciate all that Roseville has to offer its citizens -- and I want to contribute.
