<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting ofthe City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 13th day of September 2004, at 6:30 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Thlan, Kough, Schroeder, Klausing <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Schroeder introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10242 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE VACATION OF CERTAIN PUBLIC <br />EASEMENTS ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1515 COUNTY ROADB AND 2194 <br />STATE FARM ROAD (PF3591). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Target Corporation has requested a portion of the roadway easement <br />adjacent her property be vacated; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Target Corporation property is located at 1515 County Road B and 2194 <br />State Farm Road and legally described as: <br /> <br />LotI and Lot 2, Block 1, Roseville Target <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has determined that the requested roadway <br />easements, sidewalk easement, sanitary sewer easement (and line relocation), and water main <br />ease (and line relocation) are no longer necessary for public inrrastructure; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding the <br />Easement Vacation requested by Target Corporation and voted (6-0) to recommend approval of <br />vacating seven roadway easements, one sidewalk easement, one sanitary sewer easement, and <br />one water main easement, based on the findings of Section 5.25 to 5.29 and the condition of <br />Section 6 ofthe project report dated August 4, 2004; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant the <br />V ACA nON of certain PUBLIC EASEMENTS on the above described property, based on the <br />findings in Section 5.25 to 5.30 of the project report dated September 13,2004, and subject to the <br />following conditions: <br /> <br />1. The applicant must submit the legal description of the area to be vacated and the proper <br />legal document on which to record the vacation at Ramsey County, both to be reviewed <br />and approved by the Director of Public Works. <br /> <br />2. The provision of a relocated water main easement per the Public Works Department and <br />based on the final site utility plan approved by the Public Works Director. <br /> <br />1 <br />
