<br />002 <br /> <br />VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE <br />Meeting,Friday,May 21st,l948 at 8PM <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date in adjourned regular session <br />with the following members present:Carlson,Hammersten,Mernbrez,Mueller anò <br />Fothen.(5) Also present was Ira Karon,attorney. President Mueller presided. <br /> <br />Hóù;uuersten moved, seconded by Carlson to appoint Theo.H.Schultz,Art Carrier <br />as Judges and iÆn; Evel;yn ü'N~il as clerk of special election on separating <br />the Village of Roseville from the Town of Rose to be held May 25th,l948. <br />Ron Cdl: Ayes-5,Na;ys-0. <br /> <br />General discussion took place pertaining to the ordinances and resolutions <br />needed in the Village.It was felt that the following ordinances and resolutions <br />should be prepared: <br /> <br />1: OrdinaJ1ce of building Code <br />2: Standing Rules cf the Council of the Village <br />3: Ordinance regulatinG the sale of Non-Intoxicating Malt Liquor <br />4: Oràinance regulating anè licinsing sale of cigarettes <br />S~: Oròinance for the operation of a tavern <br />6: Ordinance cn zoning <br />7: Ordinance esteblishing a 20ard of Health. <br />8: Resolution of election èistricts <br />9: Resolution designating b2~lr for village deposits <br />10: Resolution for the hiring of Village attorne;y. <br /> <br />læ.Ira Keron ~2S instructed to prepare these ordinances anò resolutions <br />and that they be submitted for aòoption at the next meeting. <br /> <br />1æ.HaŒÆersten moved, seconded by Mueller to adjourn meeting to May 27th at <br />8 F.~.
