<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />AN ORDINANCE NO. 1099 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE REGULATION OF MOTOR <br />VEHICLE RENTAL AND LEASING BUSINESSES BY AMENDING THE CITY CODE <br />OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, <br /> <br />does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />The City Code of the City of Roseville, is hereby <br /> <br />amended by adding Section 8.365, to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 8.365. Motor Vehicle Rental and Leasing <br />Businesses. <br /> <br />Motor vehicle rental and leasing businesses as tenants <br />in office and office service buildings, may be allowed <br />through the issuance of a special use permit in the <br />B-lB, B-2, B-3, B-4 and B-6 Zoning Districts. In the <br />review of such applications, it shall be determined <br />that the storage of vehicles on the premises shall be <br />purely an accessory use, does not function as display <br />or advertising, and does not alter the appearance and <br />character of the property. <br /> <br />In addition to other conditions that may need to be <br />attached to these special use permits to ensure <br />compliance with the intent of this ordinance, motor <br />vehicle rental and leasing businesses shall conform to <br />the following standards: <br /> <br />1. Small vehicles. For rental and leasing businesses, <br />a small vehicle is defined as a motor vehicle intended <br />primarily for passenger use and no taller than 7'0" in <br />height and no longer than 20'0" in length. <br /> <br />2. Large vehicles. For rental and leasing businesses, <br />a large vehicle is defined as any motor vehicle other <br />than a small vehicle. <br /> <br />1 <br />
