CITY OF ROSEVILLE
AN ORDINANCE NO. 1100

*

*

*

*

*

*

*

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF
ROSEVILLE BY DEFINING THE PROCEDURE FOR APPROVING MINOR CHANGES
TO APPROVED PLANS

The City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota,

does hereby ordain:

I.

The City Code of the City of Roseville, is hereby

amended by adding Section 13.071, to read as follows:

Section 13.071. Minor Changes to Approved Plans.

1. For any permit requiring development approval from
the City, such as a subdivision, site plan review,
Special Use Permit, or sign permit, minor changes to
the location, placement and height of structures or
outdoor use areas may be authorized by the Development
Review Committee, if such change is required by
engineering or other circumstances not foreseen at the
time the final plan was approved and filed with the
Director of Community Development.

2. Before approving minor changes, the Development
Review Committee must find that such changes neither
cause any aspect of the project to fail to comply with
applicable code requirements, nor materially change any
important representations made to the City and
surrounding residents, during the original approval
process.

3. If the Development Review Committee finds that a
proposed change is not a minor change, the change shall
be considered either an amendment to the original plan
or a new application, and shall require review by the
Planning Commission and City Council as established in
the appropriate sections of the Code.
