<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />AN ORDINANCE NO. 1106 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE DECLARING A MORATORIUM ON THE CONSIDERATION <br />OF ALL APPLICATIONS FOR VARIANCES TO THE SIGN REGULATIONS OF THE <br />CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE AS FOUND IN ROSEVILLE CITY <br />CODE, CHAPTER 14. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, <br /> <br />does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Whereas the City of Roseville is conducting studies to <br /> <br />review all official controls regulating signs. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />Whereas the City Council has determined there must be a <br /> <br />moratorium on the considerations of all applicants for variances <br /> <br />to sign regulations during the period that the sign ordinance is <br /> <br />under review. <br /> <br />III. <br /> <br />Therefore, the City Council ordains that commencing on <br /> <br />the date of publication of this ordinance and for a period of up <br /> <br />to 6 months thereafter, a moratorium shall exist on all <br /> <br />applications for variances, excluding planning file #2333, to the <br /> <br />regulations set forth in Chapter 14 of the City Code regulating <br /> <br />signs. This ordinance is passed pursuant to Minn. Stat. S462.355 <br /> <br />Subd. 4. <br /> <br />IV. <br /> <br />This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from <br /> <br />and after its passage and publication. <br />
