<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1107 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ADDING CHAPTER 94 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY <br />OF ROSEVILLE REGARDING FORESTATION CONTROL <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville does hereby <br /> <br />ordain: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The following Chapter 94 1S hereby added to the City Code of <br /> <br />the City of Roseville: <br /> <br />94.010. Purpose. It 1S the purpose of this <br />chapter to protect and promote the public health, <br />safety and general welfare of the people of the City of <br />Roseville by: <br /> <br />A. regulating the planting, maintenance and <br />removal of trees and plants on all public <br />spaces and right of ways: <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />the licensing <br />removal and <br />lands, <br /> <br />of the <br />trimming <br /> <br />planting, maintenance, <br />of trees on public <br /> <br />C. the inspecting of trees on public and private <br />lands, <br /> <br />D. the controlling of tree diseases to protect <br />the trees and to prevent and abate hazardous <br />conditions and nuisances within the City, <br /> <br />E. protecting and preserving existing healthy <br />trees, <br /> <br />F. <br /> <br />encouraging the planting of trees <br />protection and enhancement <br />environment. <br /> <br />for <br />of <br /> <br />the <br />the <br /> <br />94.020. Tree Board. The Parks and Recreation <br />Commission shall act in all matters relating to the <br />advisement of issues contained in this ordinance and <br />all others relating to forestation within the City of <br />Roseville. The process, conditions for appointment, <br />and terms shall be the same as those for the Parks and <br />Recreation Commission (City Code Section 236.010). <br /> <br />1 <br />
