Roseville Public Works, Environment and <br />Transportation Commission <br />Agenda Item <br />Date: September 22, 2015 Item No: 5 <br />Item Description: Snelling Ave (A Line) Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project Update <br />Background: <br />Metro Transit has been working to start a new bus service called Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) which <br />includes a faster, express like service but includes enhanced stations and a Light Rail Transit like <br />experience for boarding and exiting the bus. <br />This north end of this new line on Snelling Ave will be at Rosedale Mall with additional stops at <br />County Road B and Larpenteur Ave (Falcon Heights). Staff will give a short presentation on the <br />status of the project. <br />Recommended Action: <br />Receive presentation on the Metro Transit BRT Project <br />Attachments: <br />A.
