<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 232.140 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE APPROVING CHANGES IN FIREFIGHTERS RELIEF <br />ASSOCIATION SERVICE PENSION AMOUNTS. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, does <br /> <br />hereby ordain: <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1126 <br />1. <br /> <br />232.140. Pension and Funeral Benefits. The <br />amendment to the Bylaws of the Roseville Firefighter's <br />Relief Association, dated September 22, 1986, is approved <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 424A. 02, <br />providing for the following benefits: <br /> <br />A. Service pension amount payable per month for <br />each year - $15.00. <br /> <br />B. Lump sum service pension amount payable for <br />each year of service - $1,500.00. <br /> <br />C. Funeral benefits for death in line of duty - <br />$4,000.00. <br /> <br />D. Death benefits for death not in the line of <br />duty - $750.00 for each year of service. <br /> <br />E. Temporary disability benefits in line of duty <br />- $10.00 per day. <br /> <br />The amendments to the Bylaws of the Roseville <br />Firefighters Relief Association dated May 23, 1993, <br />providing for monthly and lump sum service pension <br />amounts effective January 1, 1993, and January 1, 1994, <br />and other procedural matters previously set forth in City <br />Council Resolution No. 8926, are approved. Those <br />benefits shall be: <br /> <br />Effective Date <br /> <br />Monthly Rate <br /> <br />Lump Sum Payout <br /> <br />January 1, 1993 <br />January 1, 1994 <br /> <br />$17.50 <br />$20.00 <br /> <br />$1,750.00 <br />$2,000.00 <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and <br /> <br />after its passage and publication. <br />
