i~�,c�` _ <br />.�.�,, ...._1 . 1 1 1 <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />Department Approval <br />.� �� --- �-}�'--- <br />Date: October 5, 2015 <br />Item No.: 8.f <br />City Manager Approval <br />Item Description: Award a Construction Services Contract with SRF Consulting Group for <br />Twin Lakes Parkway Phase III <br />BACKGROUND <br />Earlier this year the City Council approved a design services contract to SRF Consulting Group, <br />Inc. in the amount of $136,994 for the completion of Twin Lakes Parkway to Fairview Ave. That <br />contract did not include design services. <br />Staff has requested SRF Consulting Group to present a proposal for contract administration and <br />construction inspection services for the construction of Twin Lakes Parkway Phase 3. SRF has <br />presented a proposal with a cost of $229,847 for these services. <br />The proposal and proposed contract are attached. <br />FINANCiAL IMPACTS <br />The cost of these services will be funded from TIF District 17 funds. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends the Council award a professional services contract with SRF Consulting <br />Group for construction services for the Twin Lakes Parkway Phase 3 project in the amount of <br />$229,847. <br />REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION <br />Motion to award a professional services contract with SRF Consulting Group for construction <br />services for the Twin Lakes Parkway Phase 3 project in the amount of $229,847. <br />Prepared by: Marc Culver, Public Warks Director <br />Attachments: A: Design Services Contract <br />B: Design Services Proposal <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />
