EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVII�LE <br />� � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the Sth day of October, 2015, at <br />6:00 p.m. . <br />The following members were present: McGehee, Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, and Mayor Roe. <br />and the following were absent: None. <br />Member Willmus introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION No. 11261 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PURCHASE/SALE OF CERTAIN LAND BY THE <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Area Schools District 623 ("School District") owns certain land that <br />includes the Owasso Ballfields ("Ballfields Site") site located on Victoria Street between Woodhill <br />Drive and County Road C; and <br />WHEREAS, United Properties Residential, LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company ("Seller") <br />has entered into a purchase agreement with the School District for purchase of this land; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville ("City") owns a parcel of land at 2668 Lexington Avenue North <br />("Lexington Parcel"); and <br />WHEREAS, the City has determined that it should transfer ownership of the Lexington Parcel to <br />the Seller as partial financial consideration for this transaction; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has determined that it should acquire the Ballfields Site pursuant to a Purchase <br />Agreement between the City and the Seller in substantially the form presented; and <br />WHEREAS, the City and the Seller have agreed to a long term Access and Parlcing Easement <br />Agreement for the Ballfields Site. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council ("Council") of the City of <br />Roseville, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. The Council approves the Purchase/Sale Agreement and the Access and Parking Easement <br />Agreement providing for the purchase of the Ballfields Site, ongoing parking and access to <br />the site and sale of the Lexington Parcel by the City.
