<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />AN ORDINANCE NO. 1138 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 119 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE PERTAINING TO THE REGULATION OF LAWFUL BINGO AND <br />OTHER LAWFUL GAMBLING BY AMENDING SECTION 119.015. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, <br />does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />The City Code of the City of Roseville Section 119.015 is <br /> <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />119.015. Number of Licenses and Permits. <br /> <br />1. No organization licensed pursuant to Minn. Stat. <br />§349.16 may conduct lawful gambling at more than one (1) <br />location within the City, except any organization that <br />does not conduct Bingo and has prior to April 1, 1992 <br />operated lawfully at more than one location, may continue <br />to operate at the locations licensed as of that date. <br /> <br />2. The maximum number of Bingo Hall licenses and <br />locations issued pursuant to Minn. Stat. §349.164 within <br />the City shall be one (1). Once the Bingo Hall license <br />is issued by the City, it shall be limited to the <br />location and to the owner specified on the license. Any <br />change of location or ownership without the approval of <br />the City shall result in the termination of the license. <br /> <br />3. The maximum number of licensees conducting <br />gambling at the Bingo Hall license location described in <br />2 above shall be five (5). <br /> <br />4. The maximum number of premise permits issued <br />pursuant to Minn. Stat. §349.165 in addition to one Bingo <br />Hall license described in 1 above shall be eight (8). <br />The gambling allowed at those eight locations shall be <br />those allowed under Class B licenses as referred to in <br />Minn. Stat. §349.16, Subd. 6, except as provided in <br />paragraph 5 below. <br /> <br />5. An organization in existence and qualified under <br />§501 (c) 7 or §501 (c) 19 of the Internal Revenue Code <br />and which had its principle place of business or place of <br />conducting meetings in the City of Roseville, prior to <br />and continuing since 1980 may be granted a Class A <br />premise permit. <br />
