<br />ORDINANCE NO. 1148 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING A PERMIT AND ASSESSMENT OF FEES FOR THE <br />PLACEMENT OF MICRO CELLS AND PICO CELLS OR OTHER FORMS OF <br />TRANSMITTERS AND RECEIVERS FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING TELEPHONIC, <br />TELEPHONE, TELEPOINT, PAGING OR SIMILAR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION <br />SERVICES ON OR WITHIN THE RIGHTS OF WAY AND ESTABLISHING A <br />PERMITTING PROCESS TO PROVIDE FOR THESE DEVICES IN COMMERCIAL AND <br />RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS NOT ZONED FOR THIS PURPOSE. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE <br /> <br />This Ordinance shall be known and may be cited as the Wireless <br />Communications System Permit Ordinance. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. REOUIREMENTS <br /> <br />A. Permit Requirement <br />No person, firm or corporation whether public, private, <br />nonprofit or not for profit shall construct, operate or <br />continue to operate a Wireless Communications System <br />which occupies any part of the easements, streets, public <br />ways and public places within the City without having <br />been issued a Wireless Telecommunications Permit by the <br />City. <br /> <br />B. Compensation Requirements <br />Except as hereinafter provided, it shall be a term and <br />condition of any Wireless Telecommunications Permit <br />issued in accordance herewith, that, as a part of the <br />consideration supporting the issuance of such Wireless <br />Telecommunications Permit and the City's permission to <br />occupy and use the easements, streets, public ways, <br />public places and rights of way, that the Permittee <br />agrees and shall pay to the City compensation and permit <br />fees as set out below. <br /> <br />(1 ) <br /> <br />Permit Request Fee <br />All applicants shall pay a <br />$50.00 per cell site or <br />whichever is greater. <br /> <br />permit request fee of <br />a minimum of $300.00 <br /> <br />1 <br />
