CITY OF ROSEVILLE ORDINANCE NO. 1150 * * * * * * * * * * * * AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 203.00 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, WHICH DECLARES WHICH ACTIVITIES ARE NUISANCES, PROHIBITING THE STORAGE OF FIRE WOOD MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT IN FRONT YARDS OF RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY The City Council of the City ofRoseville, Minnesota, does hereby ordain: Section 203.000 of the City Code which declares which activities are nuisances, is hereby amended to add the following new Section 203.180 (storage of wood) and 203 .190 (storage of materials or equipment): 203.180: The storage of any wood or wood product used or intended to be used as fire wood on residential properties within the City of Roseville unless wood piles are erected, located, and maintained in a safe and orderly fashion: a. In neat and secure stacks elevated six inches (6") off the ground; b. A maximum height allowed for a wood pile is six feet; c. Fire wood shall only be stored in a side or rear yard. 203.181: The Council may issue permits for the storage of wood in situations where unique circumstances preclude the ability to meet the standards of the code. 203.190: The storage of materials or equipment in the front yard of residential properties within the City of Roseville. 203.195: For the purpose of this section, £Tont yard shall be defined as in Section 5.680 of this code. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication. PASSED by the City Council of the City ofRoseville, this 12thday of Septembe,r1994. .
