<br />P. Abatement of Vehicles. <br /> <br />(1) Impounding. Any police officer or other duly <br />authorized person may order any vehicle <br />constituting a public nuisance to be <br />immediately removed and/or impounded. The <br />impounded vehicle shall be surrendered to the <br />duly identified owner by the towing <br />contractor only upon payment of the required <br />impound, towing and storage fees. <br /> <br />(2) Sale. Notice and sale of any vehicle <br />impounded under this ordinance shall be <br />conducted in accordance with Minnesota <br />Statute Chapter 128B governing the sale of <br />abandoned motor vehicles. <br /> <br />III. <br />Chapter 407 of the City Code of the City of Roseville <br />lS hereby amended by repealing subsection 407.03 H. Storage of <br />Materials and Equipment, and replacing Subsection 407.03 I. Junk, <br />to read as follows: <br /> <br />407.03. <br /> <br />NUISANCES AFFECTING PEACE AND SAFETY: <br /> <br />J. Junk: The outside piling, storing or keeping of <br />old machinery, furniture, household furnishings or <br />appliances or component parts thereof, rusting <br />metal inoperable/unusable equipment, or other <br />debris visible on private or public property. <br /> <br />IV. <br /> <br />This ordinance shall be In force and effect from and <br /> <br />after its passage and publication. <br />
