EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 8th day of January -, 1990, at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Johnson, Thomas, Cushman, Maschka, and Rog, and the following were absent: Nene. Member Johnson its adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved RESOLUTION NO. 8529 RESOLUTION REQUESTING ONE YEAR EXTENSION OF DUE DATE FOR REVIEW OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE'S COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR CONSISTENC~ WITH AMENDED METROPOLITAN COUNCIL POLICY PLANS WHEREAS, state statutes (Minn. Stat. 473.856) requires that cities review their comprehensive plans for consistency with Metropolitan Council policy plans within nine months of the plans being submitted to the City; and WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has amended its policy plans; and WHEREAS, the city of Roseville is required to review its comprehensive plan for consistency with the amended policy plans and submit amendments to the Metropolitan Council by January 10, 1990; and WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has scheduled and budgeted for a major review and update of its comprehensive plan in 1990. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Roseville requests that the Metropolitan Council grant the City of Roseville a one year extension to the deadline to review its comprehensive plan for consistency with the amended Metropolitan Council policy plans and submit any necessary plan amendments for review. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Maschka , and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Johnson, Thomas, Cushman, Maschka, and Rag, and the following voted against the same: None. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
