<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the <br />City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota <br />was duly held on the 8th day of January -, 1990, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Johnson, Thomas, Cushman, <br />Maschka, and Rog, and the following were absent: Nene. <br /> <br />Member Johnson <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8529 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING ONE YEAR EXTENSION OF DUE DATE FOR REVIEW OF <br />THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE'S COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR CONSISTENC~ <br />WITH AMENDED METROPOLITAN COUNCIL POLICY PLANS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, state statutes (Minn. Stat. 473.856) requires that cities <br />review their comprehensive plans for consistency with Metropolitan <br />Council policy plans within nine months of the plans being submitted <br />to the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has amended its policy plans; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city of Roseville is required to review its <br />comprehensive plan for consistency with the amended policy plans and <br />submit amendments to the Metropolitan Council by January 10, 1990; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has scheduled and budgeted for a <br />major review and update of its comprehensive plan in 1990. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Roseville requests <br />that the Metropolitan Council grant the City of Roseville a one year <br />extension to the deadline to review its comprehensive plan for <br />consistency with the amended Metropolitan Council policy plans and <br />submit any necessary plan amendments for review. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Member Maschka , and upon a vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor thereof: Johnson, Thomas, Cushman, <br />Maschka, and Rag, and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
