<br />ORDINANCE NO. 1181 <br /> <br />AN INTERIM ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE DEVELOPMENT AND ISSUING OF ANY <br />PERMITS FOR .ANY BUSINESS USE AND MULTI FAMILY USE IN CERTAIN <br />DESIGNATED AREAS OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE. <br /> <br />The Ci ty Counci~ of the Ci ty of Rosevi~~e ordains as fo~~ows: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Backqround. <br /> <br />1.01. <br /> <br />The <br /> <br />Ci ty Counci~ <br /> <br />has become <br /> <br />aware of certain <br /> <br />app~ications for business uses and mu~ti-fami~y uses in certain <br /> <br />designa ted areas of the Ci ty. <br /> <br />1.02. <br /> <br />The City Counci~ has determined that further business <br /> <br />deve~opment and mu~ti-fami~y residentia~ deve~opment <br /> <br />might be <br /> <br />incompatib~e <br /> <br />with adjacent or nearby ~ands <br /> <br />tha t are zoned <br /> <br />residentia~. <br /> <br />1.03. <br /> <br />It is the intention of the City Counci~ to commence a <br /> <br />study of certain ~and uses in an area of the Ci ty wi thin the <br /> <br />fo~~owing boundaries. <br /> <br />The area to be studied is: <br /> <br />The North Ha~f of the Northeast Quarter of Section 9, <br />Township 29, Range 23; and a~~ that part of Section 4, <br />Township 29, Ranger 23 bounded by County Road C to the <br />North, Fairview Avenue to the West, and by the East ~ine of <br />said Section 4, Township 29, Range 23 on the East. <br /> <br />1.04. <br /> <br />The City Counci~ intends to direct the P~anning <br /> <br />Commission to commence studies on the affect of additiona~ <br /> <br />1 <br />
