I use the parks personally and <br />through other organizations I'm involved with such as working <br />with the Taste of Rosefest as the marketing chair for the past 8 <br />years. The Roseville park system is one of the reasons I chose <br />to move to the area. In my opinion, the parks system is a <br />community treasure and I want to be involved with its <br />development and preservation however it is appropriate. <br />What is your view of the Primarily we review a wide range of issues relating to Roseville <br />role of this Board or Parks and Recreation. We address issues alongside the <br />Commission? director and staff and provide counsel and advice as <br />appropriate. Secondarily, we are advocates for the park <br />system. We actively participate in as many Park events and <br />initiatives as we can and try to be a presence in the community, <br />promoting the use of the parks, our programs, facilities and <br />services. We solicit public input where appropriate and promote <br />an open dialogue. We stay informed on Parks issues. We are <br />involved and committed to the welfare of the parks and the <br />Roseville community. <br />Civic and Volunteer I have served as member of the Roseville Parks and <br />Activities Recreation commission for one term. A member of Roseville <br />Rotary, I have been the marketing chair and a general grunt for <br />the Roseville Rotary's, Taste of Rosefest event for the past <br />eight years.
