The official newspaper is used for the publication <br />of ordinances and other matters that are legally required to be published; and <br />WHEREAS, the official newspaper must be a legal newspaper of general circulation within <br />the City; and <br />25 WHEREAS, as allowed by Minnesota Statutes 331A.03, subdivision 3, a City may <br />26 disseminate solicitations of bids, requests for information and requests for proposals by an <br />27 alternative means as allowed by said statute; and <br />28 <br />29 <br />30 <br />31 <br />32 <br />33 <br />34 <br />35 <br />36 <br />37 <br />38 <br />39 <br />40 <br />41 <br />42 <br />WHEREAS, the City website is an authorized alternative means of dissemination for such <br />notices. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, that the Roseville Review is hereby designated as the official <br />newspaper for the City of Roseville in 2016. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City's website located at www.cityoufroseville.conl <br />be designated as the alternative means of dissemination for the solicitation of bids, requests <br />for information and request for proposals. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That, pursuant to Minnesota Statute 331A.03, subdivision <br />3(c), for the first six months, ending July Srh, 2016, the City must continue to publish <br />solicitation of bids, requests for information and requests for proposals in the official <br />
