<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1191 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN INTERIM ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE PROHIBITION OF <br />DEVELOPMENT AND ISSUANCE OF PERMITS FOR ANY BUSINESS USE AND MULTI- <br />FAMILY USE IN CERTAIN DESIGNATED AREAS OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Background. <br /> <br />1.01. On April 28, 1997, the City Council passed Ordinance No. 1181, <br /> <br />prohibiting the development and issuance of any permits for any business or multi-family use <br /> <br />in designated areas of the City and directed the Planning Commission to commence studies on <br /> <br />the affect of additional business and multi-family uses within the area of the City described as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />The North Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 9, Township <br />29, Range 23; and all that part of Section 4, Township 29, Range <br />23 bounded by County Road C to the North, Fairview Avenue to <br />the West, and by the East line of said Section 4, Township 29, <br />Range 23 on the East. <br /> <br />1.02. The studies are completed, however additional time is necessary to review <br /> <br />the studies and determine what, if any, amendments to the City's Comprehensive Plan or local <br /> <br />zoning controls will be made as a result of the studies. <br /> <br />Section 2. Prohibition. <br /> <br />The prohibitions set forth in Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1181 are hereby extended <br /> <br />to April 28, 1998. <br /> <br />Section 3. Enforcement. <br /> <br />The City may enforce any provision of this ordinance by mandamus, injunction, <br /> <br />or any other appropriate civil remedy in any court of competent jurisdiction. <br />
