EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE �� Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the l lth day of 7ailuary, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. The following inembers were present: McGehee, Willmus, Laliberte, Roe; and the following were absent: Etten. Councilmember McGehee introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION No. 11290 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ENTER INTO A LIIVIITED USE PERMIT WITH THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR A SIDEWALK IN THE RIGHT-OF-WAY OF TRUNK HIGHWAY 36 AT LEXINGTON AVE WHEREAS, the City of Roseville is a political subdivision, organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and, WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation is reconstructing the bridge(s) and interchange at Trunk Highway (TH) 36 and County State Aid Highway 51 (Lexington Ave); and, WHEREAS, as a part of said project and at the request of the City of Roseville, the Minnesota Department of Transportation will construct a sidewallc in the right-of-way of Trunlc Highway 36 which will be maintained and operated by the City of Roseville as per Cooperative Construction Agreement No. 06980; and, WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation requires a Limited Use Permit for the construction and utilization of said sidewallc. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Roseville hereby enters into a Liinited Use Permit with the Minnesota Department of Transportation for the following purposes: 1. To construct, operate and maintain a sidewalk within the right-of-way of Trunlc Highway 36 of the Minnesota Department of Transportation along Lexington Ave. The City of Roseville shall operate and maintain said sidewalk in accordance with the Limited Use Permit graslted by the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
