If the sale of the material does not generate sufficient revenue to <br />cover processing costs, the revenue share will be zero. The City shall <br />not be responsible for covering processing costs if the sale of the <br />material does not generate sufficient revenue to cover processing <br />costs. <br />Example 1: Net Revenue Paid to the Citv after processing costs <br />The contractor collects 300 tons of recycling within the City of <br />Roseville in one month. With the current composition and index <br />values, the material yields $27,000 in gross revenue. With a $74/ton <br />processing fee, the net monthly revenue paid to the City is $5,000. <br />Example 2: Negetive Net Revenue after processing costs <br />The contractor collects 300 tons of recycling within the City of <br />Roseville in one month. With the current composition and index <br />values, the material yields $20,000 in gross revenue. With a $74/ton <br />processing fee, the net revenue is a negative $2,200. The City shall <br />pay $0.00 to the contractor. The contractor shall not deduct the <br />$2,200 from months where there was a net positive revenue share to <br />the City. <br />The City initiated revenue sharing outline for purposes of this RFP <br />consists of per ton payment based on the following formulae: <br />A. All paper grades collected from the City based on the <br />published index less the proposed paper processing cost per <br />ton. <br />The published index used shall be: <br />• The Official Board Markets (OBM) Yellow Sheet, Chicago <br />region for Old Newspapers (ONP) # 8, high side of range. <br />• The Official Board Markets (OBM) Yellow Sheet, Chicago <br />region for OCC #11, high side of range. <br />• The Official Board Markets (OBM) Yellow Sheet, Chicago <br />region for Mixed Paper #1, high side of range, old magazines <br />(OMG), Boxboard, and Carrier Stock. <br />B. Aluminum collected from the City based on the published <br />index less the proposed aluminum processing cost per ton. <br />The published index used shall be the American Metal <br />Market (AMM), Aluminum (1st issue of the month), high <br />side nonferrous scrap prices: scrap metals, domestic <br />aluminum producers, buying prices for processed used <br />aluminum cans in carload lots, f.o.b. shipping point, used <br />beverage can scrap. <br />32 <br />
