A
f
"
Memo
Previously the Village of Roseville ha5 vacated Cupe Avenu, Lovell
Avenue, and Roy Street in the plat of Leinen Heights No. 2 lyi,g Wes of
the right-of-way of T.H. #51 and North af T.H. #36. The StatE of Minnesota
is to release part of its existing highway easements which include part of
the unvacated portions of Cope Avenue, Lovell Avenue, arid Roy Stret. It
is planned that there will then be a replattir,g which will include the re-
located highway right--of-ways. If the unvacated portions of Cope Avenue,
Lovell Avenue, and Roy Street are not now vacated, it will be necessary
to include them as separatP dedicatecl streets in the plat. This proposed :
vacation has been discussed with State Highway Departznnt and the offa.ce
of the Attorney General. They do not object and are of the opinion that
their existing right-of-way will not be aaversely affected. Because of
problems af legal description, it is more advantageous to vacate all of
the three streets rather than the parts not heretofore vacated. Dayton
Development Company is now the fe owner of al.l lands abutting thesE
streets.
