You will note
tha in my letter I stgtd it was our understanding that these pine trees wouY
be t lest 3 feet.
After a Lref discussion with Mr. Stiner I agreed that inasmuch as he
nc Mr, Erickson were planting a stxip 20 t wide with both pine and deciduous
trees it was my opinion it would be reasonable for them to platt the 18-28 inch
s-tock instead of the 3 foot stock. I stated, however, that as to Mr. Roberts'
propext,y it was my opinion that the 3 foat stock statecl in garagraph niunbered 2
in my l.etter should obtain because his planting strip is only 6 feet deep behind
his "rnc►ved fence" tnd 15 fee deep behind his business egtablishment adjacet to
the aprtment building and because the planting is to be exclusively of pine trees.
Since my telepYione conversaion with Mr. Steiner I had been in.endirzg
either to cll ynu or to visit v+ith you with respect to this modification, but
I just have not ben able to arrange my schedule to do this. ecordingly, I
thQuh•t it would be best i' I si.mply wrote you this note sta•ting what I had ggreed
to witlh Mr. Steiner and Mr. Ericksan. I assume that this modification will meet
vith the appraval of the reidents.
