The Applicant owns the area of land west of the lots that front on Woodbridge Avenue. This land is shown an the sketch at the left and is surrounded by Village �aark virtually on the south side and on the wesfi side. This applic4tion is made with fi�e intent of acquiring a means of access to this property with the intent of ultimately developing the property behind the houses on the west side of Woodbridge e 2� We have discussed this proposal, on several occasions, with the Applicant attempt�ng to assist him to arrive at a reasona6le solution. There are considerable diff��ulties in attempting to develop the land because of fihe nature of the soil and fihe lack of direct access to public streetse The current proposal is, as we understand it, to use the portion of the lot that is requested to be divided from the lot on the southwest corner of Woodlynn and Woodbridge as a means of private access to two lots which would be developed on the northerly pc�rt of the property owned by the applicant. We suggest that such a temporary solution may well make the problem worse rather than bettero It would appear that fihe rec�sonable way to handle this proposal is one of reviewing the plan for the entire area, although only a portion ef it might be developed in the initial stages, 3. Obviously a part of' tNe solution should be the dedication of the very poor land on the westerly portion of the property owned by the Applicant to the Village Park System> Another solution would be the acquisition of all of the properfiy in question for park purposes, which was the original pfan in the Park Plan prepared back in 1960>
