This operation is now located on the easterly <br />portion of my property located at 2560 North C�.eveland Avenue and <br />consists of a series of affice, shop and storage buildings surrc,unded <br />by open storage areas. The property for which I request a special <br />use permit lies immediately east of my present area of operation as <br />shown on the attached plan. <br />It is now proposed that I be granted a new special use permit, <br />wherel�y I may erect a heliport which will provide landing iacili- <br />ties for a corporate helicopter �hich I find necessary to facilitate <br />the further operation of my business. Said helicopter is required <br />because of the increased number and dispersion of projects which the <br />company is working on. A fast and versatile means of transportation <br />is needed so that administrati�e control can be maintained and so <br />that repair parts etc. can be delivered to a project quickly. This <br />heliport is proposed to be coristructed on an elevated area along <br />the easterly portion of described property as shown on the plans. <br />It would consist basically of a landing pad and hanger buildi.ng <br />with connecting runway. It is my contention that the new facility <br />is generally compatable with the present use of all buildings in the <br />general area. It is also my contention that the presence of a <br />SKILL RESPONSIBILITY INTEGRITY <br />
