Donald h�toll <br />Mayor of the Village af Roseville <br />Roseville, Minnesota <br />RE: Rec{uest for Variance to Front'-yard <br />Section 9.Q30 <br />BY: The Lexington I-Iolding Company <br />Roseville Sh�pping Center <br />Rc�seville, T�innesota <br />(a) Application <br />Dear Mayor n�o�i.: <br />set-ba:ck - Zoning Code <br />On behalf oi our client, The LPxington Holding C�mpany, we <br />hereby submit for review and consider�.tion, five (5) copies <br />of the application requesting a variance te the Zoning Code, <br />Section 9.�30. <br />Tl�e reason for this rec�uest is to permit the erec�tion of a <br />free-standing self-service postal unit on the south portion of <br />tlle existing off-stre�t vehicle parking area, now serving the <br />Roseville Shopping Center. <br />The proposed �tructure will occupy slightly in excess of four <br />(4) �arl<ing spaces and is so lacated as to cause the least <br />inter�erence to the normal on-site traffic flow. <br />The e:limination of these four (4) parking spaces d�es not <br />violate the parlcing space requirements as originally established <br />by the Vi.11age for this particular tract of land (Shopping <br />Center) - See attached "Parking Survey" by E. C. Bather F <br />Associatcs. <br />As stated in tlle application the land area (approximately <br />050 s�, ft.) is to be leased for a ten (10) year term to <br />the American Electronic and Leasing Corp, of Minneapolis, who <br />will own, operate and maintain the unit for the period of <br />the lease - remaval of unit (as and when necessary) will be <br />the responsibility of the P,merican Electronic and Leasing <br />Corp. <br />Should this application be approved, it is the intention of <br />the Lexington I-Ioldirzg Company to finalize the leasing trans- <br />action after wllich t11e American ElectroniG an3 Leasing Corp. <br />wi11 make application for the Building Permit �.nd proceed jaith <br />tJie erection of the proposed postal unit. <br />
