Turnlund: <br />O n September 13 , 19 67 you wrote inquiring about certain public <br />he�rings and requests made by H. and Val j. Rothschild, <br />You asked "Due to the conjes�ion of the 'R-3' area they are asking <br />that they be permitted to install parking lots, garages, and a swimming <br />pool in the 'R-2' area. Will this conform to the provisions of our <br />zoning ordinance ? . . . " <br />g <br />The uses tl-iat you sugg�st, that is: <br />1) parking lots <br />2) gar�ges <br />3) swimming pools <br />All of these uses are accessory uses. Accessory uses are defined in <br />the Village Zoning Code in SEction 5.050. <br />� " 5. 0 50 . " <br />My opinion i� that you cannot use lar.d zoned "R-2" as an accessory <br />use for land zoned "R�3" . This in effect, is rezoning the "R-2 � land. <br />
